Professional Security was established in 2003 in the north of England and has grown rapidly, taking on national contracts across a range of sectors.
We cover the full spectrum of security services, while specialising in the provision of door supervisors, event security, retail security and manned guards. We are able to tailor our services to provide efficient and cost effective security solutions for our clients.
We now operate across the UK and have a rapidly increasing staff base in excess of 2500 licensed security personnel.

Professional Security currently holds SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) status for the provision of Door Supervision and Security Guarding. The ACS Standard encompasses all aspects of a security provider’s operation. It takes a holistic view of how well an organisation is managed and an approved organisation must demonstrate to an Independent assessor, on an annual basis, that it has met defined standards. We have consistently received outstanding scores in our annual ACS audits, placing us in the top 5% of ACS qualified security companies.
We achieved finalist status at the prestigious Security Excellence Awards in 2010, 2011 and 2013 for awards including; "Best Practice in Door Supervision", "Contribution to Standards in the Security Sector", "ACS Champion of the Year" and "I.T. Initiative of the Year".
We have a zero tolerance approach to poor performance and unprofessional practices, systemic in the security industry.
We recognise the importance of and are committed to ongoing training and development for all of our staff and provide this through our in-house training facility.
