Professional Security is proud to be at the forefront of security solutions across the UK. We are expanding our management team and are seeking an experienced and driven Area Manager to oversee operations across the West Midlands region, including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Stoke, and the surrounding areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to manage client relationships and ensure their staffing requirements are met across the region.
- Accurate scheduling on C247 for each client’s weekly requirements, ensuring full staffing levels across all venues.
- Organising and conducting weekly face-to-face recruitment sessions to attract and onboard new door supervisors.
- Regularly visiting venues to audit staff performance, compliance, and presentation standards.
- Building new business opportunities by selling Professional Security’s services to potential clients, while maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.
- Attending Pubwatch and licensing meetings to maintain positive relationships with local authorities and uphold company reputation.
- Liaising effectively with local police forces to support venue safety and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
- Implementing operational procedures and delivering on requests from the Operations Director.

- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong IT proficiency, with confidence using scheduling and reporting systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and support staff.
- Effective time-management skills, ensuring deadlines and operational targets are met.
- Confident and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
Experience
- Security: 3 years (preferred)
- Management : 2 years (preferred)
- SIA Licenced (preferred)
