This purpose of this role is to develop new and sustainable revenue streams in the Hospitality & Leisure sector for Professional Security. The role will work closely with the Wales Operations Team and the Group Commercial Director in driving sales growth for the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver new business
- Deliver new business growth targets that will be focused around Hospitality & Leisure sector. E.g. knock off targets on a prioritized target list.
- Build and maintain strong new business opportunity pipeline across all priority sectors.
Negotiation and Tracking
- Negotiate strong commercial agreements will all new clients with a clear focus on growing the company profit margin. E.g. agree deals that fit within/above the provided pricing matrix.
- Track the performance of all new clients in order to ensure we protect and grow our business with them over time. E.g. client has 5 venues and we only have 3….target winning the remaining 2.
External and Internal Contact Strategy
- Proactively manage client contact strategy in order to remove obstacles to progress. Timely meetings with contacts to ensure development of overall growth plan. Engage with senior contacts/decision makers. E.g. monthly check ins with Top 10 customers.
- Build and maintain internal contact strategy to help meet overall client KPI’s. Specifically focusing on Marketing & Operations E.g. work with marketing to build sell in story to win new business targets.
Be an advocate and an expert
- To be a Professional Security advocate to your all of your clients and with the industry. Live and breathe the company values every day in order to drive enhanced brand perception.
- To be/become an expert in the hospitality, guarding and security sector. Understand the trends/market forces impacting Professional and our clients and take appropriate action to maximize/minimize impact. E.g. reacting to market trends by renegotiating charge rates.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid SIA licence – Door Supervisor
- Driving licence with no more than 6 points
EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Min 2 years sales experience with exposure to P&L accountability.
- Excellent working knowledge of the Wales hospitality market
- Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills.
- A personality who can adapt to engage with clients across different sectors and different levels.
- Experience of negotiations and commercial proposal modelling.
- Self-starter with a focus on winning new business.
- Proven track record of achievement account acquisition, growth and development.
TRAVEL
- Extensive travel will be a part of the role
- The Professional Security head office is in Leeds and you will be required to attend meetings here on a frequent basis.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS/TARGETS
- The role will be evaluated around the following key performance indicators which deliver the desired return on investment of the role:
- Annualised Revenue – The successful candidate will deliver a minimum of £2.0m of sustainable annualized revenues (validated run rate)
- Sales GP – All sales must be achieved with a minimum Gross Profit of 20% with initial calculation of charge rate to pay rate.
- Sales EBIT – All sales must be achieved with a minimum Operating Profit / EBIT of 10%.
- Deals Size – The average value per deal must be no less than £25k per annum and with clients that are financially solvent and reputable.
