We are currently seeking a Site Supervisor to join our team at our client’s distribution centre at East Midlands Gateway. As a Site Supervisor with professional security, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client’s safety and security. You will use your communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong leadership under pressure.

Duties and Essential Functions:

  • Supervise and lead a team of up to 15 employees.
  • Maintain and audit site for compliance
  • As a supervisor, complete reports and audits to report back to the client.
  • Ensure all officers follow site safety processes and procedures.
  • Perform administrative duties as required by the client and Professional security.
  • Ensuring security duties are carried out in compliance with all legislation.
  • Directing the delivery of security services according to third party service level agreements.
  • Maintaining local site-specific directives by reviewing and notifying Client of required changes.
  • Maintain rotas and schedules for all security positions, to ensure full site security cover.
  • Addressing performance issues by following informal action and where applicable disciplinary actions in coordination with the Human Resource Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Carrying out supervisory and management functions and responsibilities, including Training of new staff, daily site inspections, maintaining compliance and site records, while monitoring staff performance and staff evaluations on a regular basis.

Essential:

  • Applicants must hold a valid SIA Door Supervision or Security Guarding licence. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider applications from non-licence holders.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience within the security industry with experience in a supervisory capacity.

Shift pattern

  • Monday to Friday 07:00 – 19:00

Pay rate

  • £13 per hour
