This is only the beginning of my career but I’m loving every moment of it, the people I have met, the skills I have already learnt and the trust I have been given to lead on various projects.
After going through my induction week and meeting everyone in the team, I learnt all about the different roles they do and the impact they make on the business.
I have been drafting social posts for Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram where I have learnt to use new software, and I am figuring out the ways of the security industry! I have also been given responsibility for the companies TikTok where I have been posting regular content to gain more followers and engagement. I have already seen growth with some social media accounts and my aim Is to keep that going, trying out different strategies to see what content works best.
Alongside the social media I have been working a lot on Canva, where I have been creating posters, branded headers and so much more. I had never used this software before however I have learnt so fast and I love doing this because I get to be creative!
During the rest of my time, I have been attending meetings with clients and understanding more about the business.
Having done further research on the company and our USP’s, I can see that our people bring so much personality and important expertise. Customers often value the interactions with knowledgeable and friendly staff who provide excellent customer service. The passion I have seen from everyone so far is really what sets us apart!
I am loving my time at Professional so far! Apprentices like myself bring a fresh perspective to business processes and customers often appreciate interacting with enthusiastic apprentices who are passionate about learning and growing. I have been doing competitor research this week and think this is a great USP for us moving forwards.
