We’re proud to share a major milestone: Professional Security achieved an outstanding 140 out of 145 in our latest SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) audit. This result places us securely in the top 1% of security providers nationwide.

What is the ACS and why does it matter?

To understand why this score is significant, it’s important to know what the ACS represents. The ACS is the UK security industry’s gold-standard benchmark. Although participation is voluntary, the process is anything but easy.

Specifically, the assessment spans several days and covers 89 performance indicators including:

  • Strategic direction and leadership
  • Service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Financial and risk management
  • Workforce development and training
  • Compliance and transparency
  • Governance and supply chain control
  • Industry engagement and social impact

While scoring 0 is technically enough to pass, very few providers exceed 100. Therefore, achieving 140 is a rare accomplishment that reflects exceptional quality.

A prime example is our growing partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association. Recently, we secured a new three-year agreement to provide security guarding, door supervision, and close protection at various events and locations.
