CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Dave is founder and joint CEO of the business.
Since the inception of the company 18 years ago, Dave has built his business around four core principles of people, professionalism, service and standards.
Professional Security is now an Infologue top 30 organisation and is rated within the top 5% of SIA Approved Contractors in the UK.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Abby is joint CEO of Professional.
Her background as a hospitality entrepreneur has helped Professional Security to grow from it’s hospitality roots into one of the leading privately owned security firms in the UK.
Abby is passionate about driving positive change in the sector and is an advocate and board member of the Women In Security Awards Academy.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Jason joined us in November 2020 and has 30+ years experience of working in the Hospitality sector. Over the years, Jason has held board level roles in national players including Novus Leisure, Drake & Morgan and Deltic (now Rekom). Deltic at the time, were the UK’s largest nightclub operator with £103m turnover.
Jason’s role in the business is to oversee the day-to-day operations, making sure all of our teams are working together to give the very best service to all of our clients, as well as making sure our teams are enjoying themselves and have fun along the way! #EnjoyTheJourney
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Roop joined the business from fast growing recruitment group Tempest Resourcing Ltd where he held the position as group CFO & COO.
Prior to that, he has a varied and deep level of experience working in CFO level roles for several businesses with £500M+ turnovers. This includes being Group FD at nGAGE, Group FD at Ignataand in senior Financial Controller roles with both Three and Deloitte UK.
Prior to the Phoenix Security acquisition in 2022, Steve was Managing Director for Phoenix Security for over 22 years.
Before setting up Phoenix Security Steve worked as a Head Door Supervisor at some of the largest nightclubs in Newcastle and has broad experience of operationally managing scaled events & concerts.
PROCESS & TRANSFORMATION DIRECTOR
Demelza joined us in November 2021. Previously, Demelza has worked in senior management positions for pub company Ei Group (now Stonegate), Yum! Brands (KFC) and YO! Sushi and SSGC (where she was MD of a £100m turnover security business).
She is also former co-chair of the Food and Drink Security Association (FDSA).
Demelza has recently won in the Technical category at the Women in Security Awards and is now a member of the WiS Awards Academy.
SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR
Prior to joining Professional Security in July 2021, Alex spent 22+ years working in the drinks and hospitality industry for Red Bull and Ossett Brewery. His last role at Red Bull was UK On Trade Sales Director, a position he held for 7 years. He also spent 1 ½ years as Managing Director at Ossett Brewery.
Alex’s department are responsible for driving our plan and agenda around all things Sales & Marketing!
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR (HOSP) – YORKSHIRE & THE NORTH
Ben has over 25 years of experience of working in the hospitality sector. Prior to joining Professional Security, he was Operations Director with Stonegate.
He has lots of experience at leading large-scale teams in every sector of the industry and he also had a spell as MD with Apartment Group.
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR (HOSP) – MIDLANDS & NORTHWEST
Carl has over 25 years of experience within the hospitality sector working in the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining Professional, he enjoyed 11 years with JD Wetherspoon as an Operations Director and 3 years with Stonegate in a similar position. Prior to joining Professional, he was MD at Derby Pub Co.
HEAD OF OPERATIONS (HOSP) – LONDON, EAST & WALES
Simon has 20+ years experience of working in hospitality roles.
Simon was Managing Director for Noble Inns, a group of high-quality food lead pubs followed by a stint at Casual Dining Group as COO for the Bella Italia brand.
HEAD OF OPERATIONS (HOSP) – SOUTH & SOUTHWEST
Jonathan has worked in Hospitality and Leisure management for several years, having worked for the likes of Stonegate and Brewhouse & Kitchen.
His experience has given him an extensive operational understanding of how hospitality operators run effectively.
GUARDING & EVENTS DIRECTOR
Martin’s long-running background in security includes a diverse range of sectors, such as higher education, government contracts, transport, aviation, and retail.
Martin’s impressive career includes being Strategic Operations Director for TSS and also working for Tesco plc, where he was responsible for the development and improvement of their guarding proposition across the UK.
HEAD OF OPERATIONS – GUARDING
Stephen has 20+ years operational experience across significant players in the security sector.
11 of these years were spent with Controlled Solutions Group as Regional Manager and Head of Safety & Security at the Nottingham Arena.
