Professional Security is recruiting new Spectator Safety Stewards for the 2026/27 football season. To help you get started, we’re offering successful applicants a FREE QNUK Level 2 Award in Spectator Safety (RQF) (usually worth £600), delivered by our trusted training partner, Academy.
Once qualified, you’ll have the opportunity to work at Elland Road and major events across Yorkshire.

The Level 2 Award in Spectator Safety (RQF) provides the knowledge and practical skills required to work safely and professionally at football stadiums, concerts and spectator events.
You’ll learn:
○ Roles and responsibilities of a Spectator Safety Steward
○ Customer service at spectator events
○ Crowd management
○ Safe entry and exit procedures
○ Managing incidents
○ Emergency procedures
○ Communication and teamwork
○ Health and safety responsibilities
The qualification combines classroom learning with practical workplace assessment.
Classroom-based learning led by experienced trainers.
Practical assessments, workplace observations and live event experience.

Before your course, you’ll need to complete the FREE ProtectUK ACT Awareness Training.
This online learning takes approximately 45 minutes and must be completed before your first training day.

The course covers the role and responsibilities of a Spectator Safety Steward, customer service, crowd management, emergency procedures, communication, incident management, health and safety, and spectator welfare. You’ll also complete practical assessments to prepare you for working at live events.
The qualification is delivered over 5 days.

The course runs over 5 days, Monday to Friday, from approximately 8:30am until 5:00pm each day. You must attend all 5 days to successfully complete the qualification.
Assessment combines classroom learning with practical workplace observations.

No. An SIA licence isn't required for this qualification.

No. An SIA licence is not required to complete the Level 2 Spectator Safety Qualification. However, if you already hold an SIA licence, you’ll still benefit from adding Spectator Safety to your qualifications.
