We’re recruiting an experienced SIA-licensed Head Door Supervisor to lead our security team at STACK Lincoln, a busy hospitality and entertainment venue.

With £18 per hour and 25+ hours per week available, this is a fantastic opportunity for an established security professional who’s ready to take ownership of a venue’s day-to-day security operation.

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on leader who knows how to manage a team, build strong relationships with venue management and maintain high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.

Now we’re looking for an experienced Head Door Supervisor to represent Professional Security at STACK Lincoln.

The Role – Lead the Team, Set the Standard

As Head Door Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the venue’s security operation during your shifts, ensuring your team delivers a professional, customer-focused service.

You’ll be the key point of contact between Professional Security and venue management, helping create a safe, welcoming environment for customers, staff and visitors.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong communication, sound judgement and the confidence to make decisions in a busy hospitality environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, organising and supervising the venue’s Door Supervisor team.
• Providing clear direction, guidance and support to security colleagues throughout each shift.
• Maintaining a visible, approachable and professional security presence.
• Working closely with venue management to support safe and smooth operations.
• Overseeing entry procedures, queue management, ID checks and venue policies.
• Identifying potential risks and addressing issues before they escalate.
• Managing incidents, refusals and challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Ensuring the safety and welfare of customers, venue staff and security colleagues.
• Liaising with emergency services and relevant authorities when required.
• Ensuring compliance with licensing objectives, company procedures and venue requirements.
• Completing accurate incident reports and maintaining operational records.
• Setting high standards for customer service, professionalism and team performance.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced security professional who leads by example, takes pride in their work and knows how to get the best from their team.

Essential requirements:

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Previous experience as a Head Door Supervisor, Senior Door Supervisor or security Team Leader.
• Proven experience supervising and managing security personnel.
• Experience working in busy hospitality, nightlife or entertainment environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities.
• Confidence working directly with venue management and operational stakeholders.
• Ability to remain calm, professional and effective under pressure.
• A professional appearance, reliable work ethic and strong sense of responsibility.
• Availability to work 25+ hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to successfully complete BS7858 security screening and vetting.
