Martyn’s Law: Helping Businesses Prepare for Change
This month, we launched a dedicated information hub covering one of the most significant changes to UK public safety legislation in recent years: Martyn’s Law.
Officially known as the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act, Martyn’s Law is expected to come into force in 2027 and will introduce new responsibilities for certain premises and and events across the UK.
Our hub explains what the legislation means, who it may apply to and the practical steps businesses can take now to begin preparing. While the legal responsibility remains with the Responsible Person, security providers will play an important role in supporting organisations as they review their procedures, training and preparedness plans.
As specialists in venue and event security, we’re committed to helping clients navigate understand these changes and continue building safer environments for their staff, visitors and the public.
